Jacinta Campbell was crowned Miss Universe Australia in a glittering ceremony at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth 17th June 2010

The Gold Coast girl was amongst stiff competition from gorgeous talent representing Australia’s six States and two territories.

Campbell will head to the 59th annual Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada to compete with beauties from 83 other nations.

“I am super determined to bring home the crown,” a teary eyed Jacinta said.

“This is the biggest honour…I will get to represent my beautiful country overseas so I just feel so blessed.”

and freinds of Miss Universe hopefuls as well as celebrities and sponsors in the Wentworth Ballroom last night. With a three course dinner for over 250 guests surrounding a giant cat walk, onlookers enjoyed sumptious food and 5 star service prior to a glamourous parade of swimwear and evening wear from 30 finalists.
